Home Etc #103

Mini Moderns Pavilion Diffuser

Happy Wednesday everyone and welcome back to #HomeEtc. After a strange week of autumnal weather, a general election and another very sad attack on our beautiful country I was feeling very out of sorts. Thankfully this week is looking a lot brighter and finally summer seems to have returned so we have to make the most of it whilst we can!

Our home updates have taken a little break but I’m very excited to share that I’m working on a collaboration with Carpetright who are coming on Thursday to fit some new flooring in our main bathroom and have challenged us to a monochrome bathroom makeover so watch this space, there will definitely be a post featuring that in the not-too-distant future.

But back to last week and our favourites, here they are.

As someone who has two bathroom renovation projects to tackle, they are pretty much my main obsession at the moment and Becky’s transformation is so stylish and totally unrecognisable from the rather dated previous look. That towel rail/radiator combo is so gorgeous and well, grey is always a winner for me!

I’m ever so slightly envious of Keira’s large, period hallway and now it looks even better. Hallways are often overlooked when people renovate their homes which is crazy because this is the first point entry into your home and most likely the only part of your home the postman/milkman/delivery man will ever see! A lot of hard work has gone in to transform this gorgeous space, doesn’t it look amazing?

Congratulations ladies — you’re both now in the running to win this month’s voucher from our fabulous sponsor, Laura Ashley.

Now it’s your turn, please do join in with any home/upcycling/DIY/craft/interiors-related posts.

All we ask is that you follow these 3 little rules:

1) Please include our lovely #HomeEtc badge at the bottom of your post.

2) You may link up to two posts — new or old — but no more than two posts each week please.

3) Please be kind enough to comment on your HOSTS’ POSTS which will always be the first two entries in the link up, plus a couple of others.

Blog hops only work if you’re as generous with your comments as you are at sharing your posts.

Be sure to tweet us @booandmaddie or @JessSoothill with the url to your post, using the hashtag #HomeEtc and we will always retweet. We will pick 2 favourite posts each week then at the end of the month we’ll choose an overall winner.

This lucky blogger will receive a £20 voucher from our fabulous sponsor Laura Ashley. Don’t forget to keep using the #HomeEtc hashtag on Instagram too! We just love to see your Instagram photographs and remember next week your hosts are Caro and Kerry!
