It’s confession time. I’m the lazy person who doesn’t iron my bedding after washing. Not only that, it’s often left in a pile in the spare room until it’s needed again. Useful storage that doesn’t require an Olympics medal to navigate is at a premium in our home. Thankfully this gorgeous ottoman has arrived to help keep me organised and look stylish in the meantime.
We are just two and yet somehow comfortably fill a 4-bed semi-detached house. I have no idea how, but there it is. Over Easter I tried to eliminate some of the clutter by giving our bedroom a much-needed refresh, painting it a soft grey and moving some furniture around. It’s made such an incredible difference but one little wall of the room still felt quite empty and I’ve been looking out for something useful to fit the space.
There are SO many things I love about this ottoman from Songmics. It comes flat-packed and is super easy to construct. It has a spacious 86l capacity to store all the clutter. It doubles up as a seat for two and can support up to 300kg. It looks beautiful. It’s easy to transport so you can move it from room to room to serve different purposes. You get that I love it now right?
It’s also so reasonably priced, currently available from Amazon in different colours for under £30 plus FREE UK delivery! And sometimes when you need a piece of furniture to solve a practical purpose, of course you want it to look good but may not necessarily want to spend a fortune. This ottoman solves ALL those problems.
Now, oh happy days, here is the chance for you to win one for your home and it’s super-duper easy to do. All you need to do is ‘visit’ the Songmics UK page on Facebook (this is a compulsory entry option) and there are bonus entries if you want to increase your chances. The competition is open until August 31st and available to UK residents only. Good luck!

Our spare room is essentially one large drying room…….it’s also go the wardrobe where I store all our bedding and towels – but even though we’ve been in the house a good few years about 3 weeks ago Jim asked me where the towels lived……But the next plan is a makeover of the bedroom and the plan is to add an ottoman under the window to store all my shoes. I can’t think of a better use of storage!
