What do you do in a mecca full of over-bearing glass towers, a frenetic pace of life and not much greenery? Open a garden retreat. A peaceful sanctuary for people to relax over a glass of wine with sumptuous interiors, a globally-established brand and the hottest new ticket in town. Welcome to The Ivy’s latest outpost, ‘The Ivy In The Park‘ at Canary Wharf.
There’s nothing I love more than previewing new bars and restaurants, especially on a Monday night after returning to work following a holiday. That come down wasn’t so bad in the end with a little complimentary fizz and some rather wonderful views. The new Ivy brasserie is situated in Canada Square Park and standing on the terrace does remind me of New York.
But it’s the interiors that really stole the show for me.. Leather banquettes, floral inspired decor, art deco style bar. And of course, the toilets are entirely in keeping with the stylish theme (after all, these days what’s a good eatery without equally designer bathrooms?!) That’s enough from me though, I’ll leave the pictures to do the talking. The Ivy In The Park opens today and will be available for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Disclaimer: I was invited to the preview of The Ivy In The Park but was under no obligation to share any of it. I just really loved the style and thought you would too!
