We’re in the midst of renovation chaos at home with the plasterers arriving yesterday for the rest of the week. Our living room is being completely re-plastered and in this heat, the dust feels even worse, especially after long days in the office. Thankfully I received a beautiful care package from Sanctuary Spa featuring their Wet Skin Moisture Miracle collection to enjoy my very own pamper session at home. And what’s even better? The range is on offer at Boots at just £5 each until July 31st!
There is literally nothing I love more than a bit of me time. Even if it feels in short supply these days. In my ideal world I’d head off to a spa once a month but there are too many other things to spend that money on. So why not recreate the perfect tranquil relaxation at home? After all, eventually it’s too late for drilling and painting, plenty of time to kick back and relax.
That said, sometimes in the morning I’m literally running for the train and don’t have as much time as I’d like. My skincare routine definitely suffers and this is where the Wet Skin Moisture Miracle collection saves the day. The idea is that you use the body moisturiser immediately after showering or bathing, and before drying.
I’m often a cynic when it comes to anything which does me good AND saves time. Of course it makes to get the most out of your moisturiser to apply it to wet skin, it’s just a case of changing our mindset. But does it really work? Well, having spent the last few days using the range after my showers I can honestly say yes.
It’s very easy to apply and dries quickly (sometimes taking a little longer for example if your arms are bent at the elbow). My skin is left feeling ever so soft and delicately scented. It doesn’t feel greasy either which I was worried it might. Often body oils leave a residue that bothers me but Wet Skin Moisture Miracle range soaks straight into the skin.
So what’s the catch? Well, there isn’t one. The packaging is beautiful for any social-media bathroom and the scents are so lovely it was hard to choose my favourite. The Signature Sanctuary is of course the iconic fragrance we all know from the brand. I was keen to try the new scents, White Lily & Damask Rose and Green Lemon & Orange Blossom.
Surprisingly, my favourite is the White Lily & Damask Rose. Normally rose is not a smell I go for but this is such a light and elegant scent. I paired it with the matching foaming Shower Burst for a truly indulgent shower experience and the next morning the pretty fragrance still lingered. If I need a pick-me-up then the go-to is definitely the Green Lemon & Orange Blossom, it’s tough to say I prefer one over the other.
I absolutely love a product that does what it says on the tin and these definitely tick the boxes. What’s even better is that both the moisturiser and foaming shower burst are available at Boots for just £5 until July 31st.
Disclosure: I have received complimentary products and payment for the purpose of this post, however these are products that I would use and all words, opinions and imagery are my own and honest.
