Around two years ago, I realised how much I enjoyed blogging. Boo & Maddie began life back in 2014 when we moved here. It took about a year though to find my feet. To be consistent and develop a theme. To find my style and understand why I wanted to write. There was – and still is – such a fantastic community of interiors bloggers. People sharing their design dreams, their DIY problems and triumphs.
It was through the #HomeEtc link up that Caro and Jess host that I feel so welcome. Especially not being a parent, it’s been lovely to come across a blogging world where not every single person is constantly talking about their children. Like-minded style lovers from similar backgrounds have literally been my saving grace at times.
Joining the hosting team along with Kerry has been an absolute pleasure, and now somehow #HomeEtc is two and just celebrated the 100th post. If you’re a regular reader you’ll notice a little change. For last week and this there is no normal link-up so hang on until June 7th to share your posts. But this is worth waiting for!
