Since Jess and I were last hosting the clocks have gone forward and we’ve had some beautifully warm days. Spring is here finally and I have a sneaky suspicion we may have some garden-focused posts linking up over the next couple of weeks.
It’s always my favourite time of week because I love being inspired by all your home and interiors posts. As someone who struggles to find time and motivation at times to make any progress with our home renovation, it’s thanks to you lovely lot that we keep struggling on. There’s nothing like seeing beautiful homes to make us realise that we’ll get there one day!
So without further ado, it’s time to reveal who our favourite posts were from last week.
HOME ETC FAVOURITES
First we have Becky from Spirited Puddle Jumper, a fellow south-east Londoner and amazing home renovator. We loved her very kind and detailed finance breakdown of her gorgeous kitchen makeover. As someone who wants to build a new kitchen but is way too scared to even take the first steps, this was so helpful in providing a realistic expectation of the funds involved.
We also loved Gaby from Life in Eight’s beautiful Scandi-style bedroom makeover. Her choice of delicate pastel colours is just gorgeous for spring and to be honest, when the entire world is being matchy-matchy dark colours, it’s refreshing to see something so clean and airy. This would definitely be a tranquil haven for me to enjoy at the end of the day so I’ll happily pinch some ideas from this when our bedroom update happens.
Congratulations Becky and Gaby — you’re both now in the running to win this month’s voucher from our fabulous sponsor, Laura Ashley.
Now it’s your turn, please do join with any home/upcycling/DIY/craft/interiors-related posts.
HOW TO LINK UP…
All we ask is that you follow these 3 little rules:
1) Please include our lovely #HomeEtc badge at the bottom of your post.
2) You may link up to two posts — new or old — but no more than two posts each week please.
3) Please be kind enough to comment on your HOSTS’ POSTS which will always be the first two entries in the link up, plus a couple of others.
Blog hops only work if you’re as generous with your comments as you are at sharing your posts.
Be sure to tweet us @booandmaddie or @JessSoothill with the url to your post, using the hashtag #HomeEtc and we will always retweet. We will pick 2 favourite posts each week then at the end of the month we’ll choose an overall winner.
This lucky blogger will receive a £20 voucher from our fabulous sponsor Laura Ashley. Don’t forget to keep using the #HomeEtc hashtag on Instagram too! We just love to see your Instagram photographs.
The linky portal is open until 11.58pm on Saturday, so lots of time to link up!
