Seasonal styling isn’t really a thing at our gaffe. Blankets are a permanent fixture all year round and apart from seasonal candles, we don’t tend to go in for festive bedding or cushions with snowmen on. Call me Scrooge if you like but a lot of it is all a bit naff. That said, I’ve been after another set of bedding for a little while since redecorating our bedroom.
It never really occurred to me to match bedding to the overall room decor. We’ve always loved bright colours but of course in the world of Instagram you can’t really clash styles and colours too much. When I saw the new ‘Cosmo’ collection from Debenhams it looked perfect for our soft grey and blush pink colour scheme. Debenhams very kindly gave me a voucher to pop and pick up items from the Cosmo range and braving Oxford Street on a Friday evening rush hour, I came away with a king-sized bedding set to refresh our bedroom.
It’s the prettiest feather print, don’t you think? Previously my favourite set was our Habitat plain blush pink with grey sheets but ooh I’m in love with this one now. Even better, when I unpacked it I realised that the reverse is also patterned with a very delicate pink and white feather print, which I’d thought was just plain.
It may not be very autumnal but who cares, it goes beautifully with the room and is oh-so-cosy to snuggle up in. I bought a fitted mattress sheet and two square pillowcases from the Sheridan range which were all in the sale (bargain, it’s a quality bed linen line which is normally very pricey) and now I’m going to be hard-pushed to get out of bed in the morning for work.
Thank you so much to Debenhams for kindly gifting me a voucher to redeem against the Cosmo range. All words, images and opinions are my own.

That bedding is beautiful – and I like the way the feather motif is picked up in your artwork on the wall!

Thank you so much and you know, I hadn’t even thought about the art co-ordination! X
Awww the NAME!!!! I’m obviously biased, when something is named after your child, you’re obviously gonna love it!!! It’s GORGEOUS Lins!!! Looks fantastic — especially with the print on the wall!! So lovely.I’ve never been a fan of patterned and coloured bedding but I’ve gone all out recently and have picked up a couple of gorgeous sets for our bedroom. One is blue and white floral pattern and the other is a MYRIAD of shades from bluebell gray. I’m a convert! xx
