Happy Wednesday and welcome to this week’s #HomeEtc link up! By the time this post goes live I’ll be on my way to the airport for a work trip to Florida but there will be plenty of time to catch up on all your posts at the weekend with a cocktail in hand on a sandy beach đ Ok, I’ll stop now…
Our home focus at the moment is still adding to our bedroom makeover and it’s really taking shape now. Hopefully I’ll have finished faffing by the end of the month and can reveal all right here on the blog. It’s still so incredible to think what a difference a coat of paint makes, just as well really since money for the bigger projects doesn’t appear to grow on trees (shame).
There is some VERY exciting news coming in next week’s #HomeEtc post which Caro and Kerry will be hosting so make sure that you take a peep at the blogs every week even if you’re not linking up so you don’t miss out.

I absolutely love Karen’s blog and am totally inspired with the incredible and painstaking restoration of their home which hasn’t been a quick or easy process. As someone in the early stages of a very slow, long term house renovation this post is exactly up my street – honest and showing just all the hard work that’s gone in.
As an utter gardening imbecile, I’m always envious when I see other people’s beautiful gardens. Ours is looking so sparse now and Maddie us ruining what’s left of the lawn chasing foxes. Keira’s beautiful suburban garden shows that it is possible to learn how to be a gardener and improve from one year to the next so I’m looking forward to getting to grips with ours in due course.
